We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are closed most federal holidays. We offer walk-in hours for urgent care needs, Monday through Thursday from 7:15 AM to 6:00 PM on a first come, first served basis as time permits. Directions
FROM 1-5 NORTHBOUND/SOUTHBOUND: Take the James Street exit off the freeway. Head east (away from downtown) up the hill to Broadway and take a right. Follow Broadway to Yesler. Turn left into Yesler and follow the road to 21st Avenue. The clinic will be on your right, in the Central Area Health Center, on the second floor (Suite 213). Parking is available in the lot and on the street.

Services
Central Area Dental Clinic provides ongoing care for children and adults who reside in King County. Children and some adult groups are the first priority for limited appointments. For emergency dental care we treat out-of-county residents on a first come, first served basis.
Some of the services we offer include:
- Dental exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings and extractions
- Oral health education
- Limited oral surgery, as well as limited crown, denture and root canal services.
- Urgent care services for all patients on a first come, first served basis.
Appointments
We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:15 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed most federal holidays.
To establish or continue ongoing care, call to make an appointment at 206-461-7801. If you are going to be late to your appointment, please call as soon as possible—we may have to reschedule you. If you are going to miss your appointment, please give us at least 3 hours notice. We will be happy to set up a new appointment.

What to Bring
- Bring your insurance card or medical coupon.
- Children under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian present to register for care.
- If you have no insurance, you may be eligible for public insurance like Medicaid or for discounted services. Be sure to bring proof of income (pay stubs for most current month) and proof of residence.

Interpreter Services
Spanish interpretation is available Mondays and Wednesdays, all day. Other languages and days are available as needed. At Puget Sound Neighborhood Health Centers our staff speaks over 16 languages. In addition, we employ Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, Laotian, Mien, Hmong, Tigrigna and Amharic interpreters for multiple locations.
Prescriptions
If you need more medication and you still have refills authorized, contact the pharmacy where you purchased the medication for a refill. If you have no more authorized refills, contact our medication refill line at 206-461-6922.
Fees and Insurance
The minimum fee for a medical appointment is $20. The minimum fee for a dental appointment is $35. We offer a $5 discount if the fee is paid at the time of your appointment. Payment for services or proof of insurance is expected at time of service. This includes co-pays and deductibles. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
We believe that quality health care should be available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. We accept medical coupons and most types of insurance. For patients who are not eligible for coupons or insurance, we also offer a sliding fee discount. We have eligibility specialists available at most of our clinics who can help eligible patients sign up for insurance.
Neighborcare Health patients are billed directly for any lab tests or services and are responsible for paying LabCorp directly. Neighborcare Health informs LabCorp directly if a patient is eligible for the sliding fee discount.
