Directions

FROM I-5 NORTHBOUND: Take the 45th Street exit off the freeway and head west (you will turn left after exiting the freeway). Drive down 45th until the light at Densmore (one block past the QFC on the right side). Turn left at this light. The clinic is located on the southeast corner (on your left), at the intersection of 45th and Densmore.

FROM I-5 SOUTHBOUND: Take the 45th Street exit off the freeway and head west (you will turn right after exiting the freeway). Drive down 45th until the light at Densmore (one block past the QFC on the right side). Turn left at this light. The clinic is located on the southeast corner (on your left), at the intersection of 45th and Densmore.

BY BUS: Metro buses 16, 30 and 44 stop within one block of the clinic. Call Metro at 206-553-3000 for bus schedules.

Services

The Homeless Youth Clinic services are for youth and young adults (ages 12-23) who are currently homeless or have been homeless at some point in the last 12 months.

Services available include:
Medical care, acupuncture, mental health counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, HIV counseling, dental care (some Thursdays), yoga classes, naturopathy, meditation, massage, health education, social service referrals and outreach.

Appointments

There are NO appointments at Homeless Youth Clinic. We accept drop-in visits only.

What to Bring

  • If you are a new patient, please bring any written records of your medical history you may have.
  • Bring any medications you are currently using.
  • Bring your insurance card or medical coupon.
  • If you have no insurance, you may be eligible for public insurance like Medicaid or for discounted services. Be sure to bring proof of income (pay stubs for most current month) and proof of residence.

Interpreter Services

Patients speaking over 24 different languages and dialects visit our clinics. Our staff speaks over 16 languages. In addition, we employ Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, Laotian, Mien, Hmong, Tigrigna and Amharic interpreters for multiple locations.

Prescriptions

Prescription services are available to Homeless Youth Clinic patients only.

Fees and Insurance

There is no charge or expectation of payment for our Youth Clinic patients, however we will gladly accept any insurance or medical coupon for reimbursement of services. We believe that quality health care should be available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.  We have eligibility specialists available at most of our clinics who can help eligible patients sign up for insurance.

As a patient of Neighborcare Health, you have a responsibility to:
Provide complete information about your health history and current health.
Participate in decisions about your health care treatments and procedures.
Follow the treatment plan developed with your provider or inform your provider if you cannot follow through.
Treat Neighborcare Health staff, patients and property respectfully.
Make and keep appointments and notify the clinic if you are going to be late or need to cancel an appointment.
Pay the bills and fees for the health care services provided to you.
